Milano in Blu art exhibition

The open-air exhibition displaying One Ocean Foundation’s globe “Un mare di rispetto”

In occasion of the World Oceans Day, celebrated on June 8th since 1992, will take place the exposition “Weplanet – 100 globes for a sustainable future” in Piazza Affari in Milan.

The globes exhibition, entitled “Milan in Blue”, will be shown on June 8th and 9th 2021 and celebrates blue economy through globes created by young talents from Brera Academy of Fine Arts as well as by renowned designers, reaffirming the importance of an efficient Planet and ecosystems protection.

The works, created with recycled plastic, are concrete symbols of environmental protection and reiterate that our life on earth in inevitably connected to the nature and to oceans, which must be safeguarded and respected.

The ocean is crucial for human existence through oxygen generation, climate regulation and absorption of vast amounts of carbon dioxide. One Ocean Foundation, with its activity and projects, aims at spreading correct behaviours and respectful practices towards the planet, promoting a sustainable blue economy.
