Esselunga, the leading company operating in the supermarket retail sector in Italy, has added its name to the list of companies supporting the One Ocean Foundation’s projects and initiatives in defense of the health of our oceans. Esselunga joins our network of companies that are leaders in their respective sectors, such as Allianz, Rolex, Intesa San Paolo, Audi and many others.
The collaboration, which will allow our messages on preservation of the marine environment to reach ever more Italian families, is launching with Esselunga’s support for The Adventure of Water – an important environmental education project aimed at pupils in Italian primary schools. The Adventure of Water is an educational kit created with the backing of the National Research Council – Institute of Polar Sciences, which addresses issues related to climate change, water pollution, microplastics, delicate natural balances and, consequently, our individual actions.
