Seaman Paper launches the “Sea the Difference” initiative to fund ocean research and conservation
One Ocean Foundation is pleased to announce the new international partnership with Seaman Paper Company, based in Gardner, Massachusetts, a world leader in special paper and eco-friendly packaging solutions.
This new partnership aims to support the protection of the seas by strengthening the knowledge on the risks of the impact of single-use plastics on the marine ecosystems.
Seaman Paper Company launched the initiative "Sea the Difference" to raise the attention on the impacts of plastic pollution on the ocean. With this initiative, each use of a paper-based, fully recyclable, Vela™ bag will generate incremental funding to support vital research on the impact of ocean plastics and fund work to uncover actionable solutions to these critical causes.
