Racing to save the sea

Having won 25 world titles, 25 Italian titles and 15 European titles in offshore classes for one-design boats, from J/24s to TP52s and from Farr 40s to ORC 670s, Vasco Vascotto is one of the most renowned Italian sailors.

Winner of three Medcups and an Admiral’s Cup, he is now a member of the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Team for the 36th edition of the America’s Cup.

Together with the entire Luna Rossa team, Vasco is committed to the issues of safeguarding the sea as an ambassador for the One Ocean Foundation.

The collaboration between the Foundation and the America’s Cup team began with the launch of #ASustainableChallenge, an initiative dedicated to raising awareness on sustainability issues among sportspeople and sailing enthusiasts.
