
Last week, on 3th and 4th December, One Ocean Foundation hosted the in-person meeting of its international Scientific Committee. It was a highly productive moment of exchange and alignment, where ideas, perspectives, and expertise came together to define the Foundation’s present and future direction with solid scientific grounding.
Over the two days, we explored new insights, outlined research priorities, and planned the next steps to further strengthen our projects for ocean protection and regeneration. A central topic of discussion was the Ocean Impact Initiative: the Committee was invited to reflect on the journey that led to the launch of the platform in June 2025 and to help guide its evolution moving forward.
