The Foundation and the historic Italian clothing company share a bond with the sea and, specifically, with the world of sailing. One Ocean Foundation was in fact born as an environmental sustainability project launched by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda while Star Point was the official sponsor of Azzurra, the first Italian boat to participate in the prestigious America's Cup.

Star Point joins One Ocean Foundation with the goal of supporting the spread of the culture of ocean conservation in everyday life, at any latitude and longitude. For this reason, the company will support the Foundation in its education and, through the support of it’s Scientific Committee, collaborate to identify materials, processes, and ideas to develop sustainable products.
